Barfees are certainly a favourite for Mauritians. This Nanak PANEER barfee is very close to our regular one but has an edge to it. The texture of the paneer elevates the consistency and adds an extra layer of taste to enjoy.

· 1tbs butter
· 1 tin condensed milk
· 200g crushed paneer
· 1 tsp elaity powder
· 75g mik powder
· 25g ground almond

·Heat butter, add condensed milk. Stir.
· Add crushed paneer. Stir again.
· Add milk powder, ground almond and elaity powder
· Let cool in a tray and shape
